In 1998 the first RDM Design was constructed.  A Japanese influenced post and beam cabin.

Since that time, I have designed hundreds of custom homes and structures, all of which employed technologies for efficiency, flexibility, endurance and life cycle.

In addition to design, my unique range of skills extend far beyond a pencil and computer.  I have personally designed, built, roofed, wired and finished  many custom residences, several of which are featured on this website. My experience provides an unparalleled level of understanding and insight.

Growing up on the Sunshine Coast nature was my world. By my mid 20’s I had backpacked solo, through 22 countries. By then my deep gratitude for nature and an augmented understanding for time, society and evolution further fueled my passion and respect for design, planning, resource utilization and longevity.

I am equally passionate about all things health, from gene expression to arts and science. Design is a reflection of its source and must stem from observation, perspective and philosophy. When balanced, function, performance and aesthetic become inseparable.
